Week of catch-up

This week was really nothing special. Amanda and I have both been fighting colds so haven't been up to very much. We checked out a couple athletic clubs for the whole family. The one we like has everything we need, plus some great classes for Hayden. The only problem is that the classes do not come with the membership. Needless to say it is pretty expensive.

On a Hayden note: since he figured out that he can get the cat off of the recliner by reclining it and then pulling the back down he has been terrorizing the cat. Now he chases the cat around and throws random things at him...shoes, plastic balls and even his 3 pound rolling ball. Of course we are telling him "no", but secretly I think it hilarious. The cat gets revenge by swatting at Hayden as he runs by.

Hayden has also started to do this forced laugh thing. He gets this huge cheesy smile, puts his arms out like is flexing his muscles and laughs. We will try to get it on camera soon. He is also starting to try to communicate more. He waves when he wants to leave or go to a different room, he points at things he wants, he gets on his little car and lifts his legs up when he wants you to push him across the room.

There are some other things, but I can't think of them right now. Maybe later.

It was so good to hear Hayden on the phone the last two nights. He is starting to talk so much .... can't wait to see a video of everything he's doing.

Hope you and Amanda are feeling better soon! Take care of yourselves.

Love you!!

Hi All!
Its wonderful to hear that Hayden is growning so much and that he is testing the waters.(Seems to be taking after his Dad then,ha!:)) Last night on the phone I could definetly hear his personality and he is just too adorable with his Da-Da's and all the other things he does! I can picture him tipping the chair and terrorizing Lionel, poor kitty! Although I would be secretly laughing as well to just see it done!
I am glad that you are both feeling better...I think about each of you all the time and cant wait to read more about how things in WA are going!
Lots of Love!
Lisa

Hello Ollmann's,

As always, thanks for the updates on that cute little man of yours. He sounds like so much fun, and work.
I love the photo of him and the cake. l wish I was one again. Not much going on here different that the usual. Today we have some nice weather, 24 I think. Bonnie and I were discussing how crazy WI people are when they start saying things like, wow, it feels so much warmer today, (it was 13) She did that and then laughed when she saw the temp. We had a great weekend in the dells. Brett was snow sculpting again. He took 2nd place in the sculptors division, and the best part was they won the State Championship and will represent WI next year in Lake Geneva. They were well pleased.
When is your test Jon? Hope it all goes well for you.
Thinking of you all often, sending all our love and hugs to you all.

The new videos are wonderful! I was worried when that he was going to be terrified when you scared him .... I should have known better, he's already come to expect the unexpected living with Jonathan! Amanda, you're going to have your hands full! We're not sure which of the boys is going to be more trouble! You have our sympathies ... :0)

Love you guys tons! Miss you so much!

Hi guys! Hope you both are feeling better and your colds are gone. Hayden sounds like he is keeping you both on your toes, which must be tough when your not feeling good. Hopefully he's not getting into too much trouble!

Unfortunately, I start school next week. :( I've had almost a month off...one month...but somehow I didn't find much time to even relax before next semester starts. I have been working long days, everyday and most weekends, trying to save money for school. I did manage to get away for the second weekend in Jan. with some friends, for our 4th annual ski trip to the UP in Michigan. We had a great time and got 2 days of skiing in, but with the 5 hr. drive there and 5 hrs. back, the weekend went by way too fast!

By the way, I LOVE the new videos...you guys must have so much fun with him! Hope all is going well for you all. Looking forward to hearing how everybody is doing! Take care. Miss you all!

Love,
Ashley

Guess when Hayden will arrive!!
