Since we are in Oregon till Wednesday, we decided to take advantage of no sales tax and upgrade Hayden's carrier. Up until now we had been using a Jeep infant carrier where he sits in the sling in front of us. But because he is such a porky little guy, our backs are taking the brunt of his chubbiness and have been wearing down quickly. We figured is time to go with a carrier where we can carry him like a backpack. Plus, we are pla
nning on doing a good amount of hiking with him in the coming years we wanted one that would last more than 6 months. This one holds up to 50 pounds so hopefully that will at least get us 2 years... hopefully.We got the Kelty FC 3.0 because it has a shade, plenty of storage, and is REALLY comfortable to wear. It is like he weighs 6 pounds again when you are carrying him. It's amazing!! (See picture above)....it even has a little kick stand for when we want to put him down on the ground. Seems like it will work perfect for what we need.

Hope that you're enjoying your time at the hotel. Did Hayden get any swimming time in? How about you Amanda -- any relaxing? And Jonathan -- how's the training going? Think about you guys all the time.
It's been incredibly busy with the end of the school year and packing up everything in the office. We finished up the packing today and the movers swooped in and cleared everything out in a few minutes! I'm at the high school now without a phone so if you need to reach me during the day use my cell #. Hopefully in the next couple days they will get the phone hooked up.
Aunt Pat called & said she's got the bibs & stroller ready for vacation already!

Just wanted to tell you I was out shopping yesterday with Gram T. and I found some really neat disposable washcloths with baby wash in them. Of course I picked them up for your vacation week with us. I had never seen them before. So for Hayden's baths you won't have to bring extra stuff along. Its all together, there are 14 in the box, funny how little things make me smile. Can't wait to see that little cutie again. Wish our little ones could be with us also, I do think Kylie and Trev might be coming with us, haven't had a chance to talk with Stacy about this yet. Glad there won't be a computer around, no fighting over Webkinz then. Only fishing and swimming and lazying in the sun. Miss you guys, see you soon. Love and hugs to all..
